Professional, efficient and great attention to detail. John quickly appreciated what we needed to change our small patch of weed ridden grass and concrete patio into a beautiful extension of our home with 3 outside ‘rooms’ on different levels. Darren and his team constructed it with efficiency, care and great attention to detail providing us with a beautiful result that will give us pleasure every day for years to come. They carried out the work unobtrusively, tidying up every evening, and were a pleasure to have around. We didn’t have alternative quotes and no doubt we could have found cheaper alternatives but a hassle-free experience is worth a great deal. We recommend Yorkshire Gardens without reservation.

I cannot recommend Darren and his ream highly enough. We wanted to re design our garden completely including the addition of off street parking. Darren came out to see us and worked with us to create with what we wanted. He offered friendly honest advice. And went above and beyond the call of duty for us even though our garden was a relatively smaller project to what he is used to managing. We know have a modern looking garden with all nicely rendered walls and sorrento granite block paved off street parking area and are well pleased with the results. Thanks Darren!

Everyone worked hard to provide us with a new garden which will be easier for us to manage in our retirement and provide a lot of pleasure. I whole heartedly recommend Yorkshire Gardens for garden and landscape services. Yorkshire Gardens provided design and construction services for my new garden. They delivered to time and budget with an eye on detail and quality. I approached them and a couple of other landscape firms with what I thought was a fairly well formed plan of a new garden layout. I had a garden with many levels which was not working well or making good use of the space. They were the only one to challenge my thoughts and add value rather than just price up a job. This resulted in a vastly improved design and final outcome. I think if I had gone with someone just willing to build what I had thought of it would have been a lost opportunity and I would not be getting the value for money I am from the space now. The site team, led by Darren, were fantastic. They were polite and very knowledgeable, when I asked any member of the team to explain more about a particular part of the work they were doing. It was great to have Darren to work through aspects of the build with, tweaking and adding elements as we went along. I the quality of the work is excellent and I think, as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. I can be quite particular about what I want and have an attention to detail. Darren and the team were happy to take our input and comments and address any issue that required attention without complaint and seemed to genuinely want to do the best for us. The site team are all very hard working and conscientious working long hours to get the job done. The work included a lot of hard landscape work, drainage (including a sump), a large deck (Ecodeck), artificial lawn, raised bed, path, fencing and bespoke swing set. The development of the swing set is an excellent example of the design input and added value. We had in mind an 'off the shelf' swing set which they would install. Darren raised the idea of making the swings on a large pergola which would have greater flexibility for future uses once the kids had outgrown the swings (by detaching the swings). Our garden has been transformed and is now like an extra room of the house - a wonderful place to live, play and entertain.

From the brilliantly clever design to the painstaking execution and finally the imaginative planting, the whole experience was a joy. The team were amazing. Quality quality quality. Before, I had a sad, stoney, overgrown, outside space. Now, I have a beautiful, sunny, terraced, walled garden. This was money well spent. Thank you Yorkshire Gardens!
