In autumn 2015, YGS were approached by Lavigne Lonsdale to discuss an interesting project. During the meeting, we were told about the bund and our challenge was to ensure this wasn’t an eyesore BUT a feature of the project…indeed the vision was to make it a symbolic talking point of the development for years to come. This was going to be the South’s Angel of the North!

YGS manage the landscaping at my development in Ivybridge, god forbid if they manage your development or do any work on your home. - Shoddy, sporadic lawn cutting and they leave the grass trimmings strewn over pavements, roads and the lawns. They damage resident's hedges and plants ramming it with their mowers and they knocked down two signs in the process - still lying broken on the ground. I also watched them pick up large stones from the lawn and throw them into the roads and onto resident's front gardens - Workmen booked in twice to come visit my property and never showed up. Eventually after endless chasing arrived 4 weeks later to do the work. - It took them months to plant trees and they're nearly all dead, I watched them planting them - drive onto the lawns (including my lawn, without asking, thanks for the mud), dig a hole, chuck the tree in and drive off. No attempt to level it, no watering, no compost or root developer. 90% of them dead by June. Unprofessional, lazy and uncaring. I would go elsewhere.

Shocking company the respect for the staff and clients is shocking never seen such shoddy careless work from a big name company in my life I would t recommend this company to cut a 6 ft spot off grass let alone a decking,fencing or god forbid an actual landscape project stay well clear fuming is an understatement should be ashamed
