They did a execellent job cutting back our very large overgrown tree in a confined space which blocked sun for us and neigbours. Very happy with results – would definitely recommend them to our friends and would use them again in the future. Peter and I are really pleased with the work and are quite amazed at the difference it has made to light levels and our appreciation of the size of the back garden. Both my parents gave you and your team very good reports too! I’ve also thanked Chris for recommending you to us in the first place!

Wholetree has undertaken work twice for me. Recently, the company pruned a number of branches off a large ash tree, and reduced the height of a rhododendron hedge. Previously the company cleared a very overgrown shrubbery, removing the roots of the shrubs and small trees, as well as the top-growth. I have been well-pleased with the work on both occasions, and would have no hesitation in recommending Richard and his team.

I live a long way from the North East and engaged Wholetree after a recommendation from a previous customer. The task involved a large number of trees cut down and pruned in a large garden. Richard was very easy to deal with and easy to talk to, offering good advice. The work was completed to a good standard at a competitive price, with all left neat and tidy. He will be invited to undertake any further tree work necessary next year. Strongly recommended.

Richard and Jim skilfully dealt with a large high Oak located close to our house - adjacent to a recently erected (expensively built) garden fence - and removed invasive Holly trees before reducing conifers. Most of this work was done at height - and on the second day in the face of heavy snowfall followed by a freeze. Concerns about damage from falling branches were fully allayed. They know their stuff with damage risks addressed, resulting woodlands looking balanced and ‘natural,’ sunshine flooding into previously dark areas of the garden and no mess. The estimate and quote was accurate and reasonable, they arrived on time, worked hard and were knowledgeable and interested. As a bonus, we and our neighbours had two very entertainingly lockdown days watching the tree-climbing.

Had an overgrown tree in a bad location removed. Took a while to arrange a day but the job was done efficiently and they even shredded a few branches that I had cut off a different tree myself. Everything was tidied up afterward and the space looks much better without the monster tree! I'll call them again if I need another tree removed. Nice guys and a great price.

Absolutely first rate service. This is the second time I have used the company to help get my garden under control and again they have saved the day! Richard is very clearly so knowledgeable about his work and takes time to make sure the job is done sympathetically and right for the trees and garden too.
