Welcome to Walker’s nurseries, we are located on the outskirts of Chester, Cheshire. We are a family run business and have been growing for 3 generations on our nursery in Huntington. We produce all of our own bedding plants and supply many garden centres, local councils, pubs and restaurants, parks and gardens as well as our own retail centre in the nursery. 

We have a Post Office local on site, a small farm shop selling fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread & meat from local suppliers. We also sell shipping & delivery essentials & greeting cards, gift wrap & helium balloons etc.

We are proud to have a home delivery service for our local customers and can deliver to addresses in Chester. We started this service during Covid lockdown and have been able to deliver flowers and plants to customers that otherwise would not have been able to enjoy their garden this year. We are continuing this service due to its popularity and will constantly be updating our online shop with new products as they come available and change throughout the seasons.

Did you know that we grow, plant and maintain the planted displays that are seen all around Chester? From the trailing plants adorning the Chester Rows and amphitheatre railings, to Grosvenor park and many of the hanging baskets you see outside of the pubs and restaurants in the city. Each year we work with the city planners to create a colour and planting scheme suitable for events over the year. We provide the plants and baskets seen outside the Town Hall and even provided additional displays when the Queen visited in 2018.
