Mike was born and bred in villages around Market Harborough and raised in a farming family. Being passionate about the great outdoors, he trained as a tree surgeon at Moulton College in 2010, first gaining NPTC City and Guilds qualifications and later LANTRA and IPAF certifications.
Before forming his own company, Mike worked as a groundsman and climber for other local tree surgeons. His aim is to combine the best elements of all he has seen in other tree firms.

Rhiannon Stafford5 StarMike and his team removed a large conifer tree from my front garden, and then ground the stump away, leaving me with an additional five foot of garden space.
On both occasions they arrived on time and with all the necessary kit to complete the job. There was not waiting around. They left the site safe and tidy. I was very pleased with their work, and they are genuinely lovely people too!

The quote given was very reasonable compared to work done by other tree surgeons. Mike and his colleague were friendly, polite and easy to deal with. A McD5 StarWe had a number of tree stumps removed by Mike and Eddie. They responded promptly to our enquiry, the quoting process was straightforward (I took a quick video so they could confirm access). On the day of the job Eddie arrived promptly and only needed a cup of tea and two chocolate digestives to fuel him for the work!!
