I asked Tree Care to provide a quote to cut back a hedge and remove some bushes. They failed to keep the original appointment but did turn up a day late with little apology. They provided a quote and forcefully pushed to carry out the work immediately. It felt like Tree Care was taking advantage of my husband not being English. Feeling pressured, my husband agreed, and they started work after demanding a cup of coffee. After nearly a full day, the work was not complete, with Tree Care stating they had broken their strimmer so they could not finish. They immediately asked how soon we would pay them, demanding the same day even though I was out at a meeting. Looking at the work carried out, I asked for an invoice so we could assess the cost against the original quote. Also, I wanted proof of payment for the job if our hedge does not survive this onslaught. Especially as the hedge looks more like it has been hacked rather than trimmed. Plus, their pamphlet clearly stated that payment was on the satisfaction of the customer. This request resulted from a series of messages throughout the weekend demanding payment in a threatening manner, making me feel unsettled and anxious. The voice messages were particularly intimidating, especially the one threatening me with a solicitor. Or worse, the ones where they were claiming personal problems as if we don't all have them at the moment. Eventually got an invoice on Monday when Tree Care turned up at our house and agreed to reduce the payment based on the agreed work not being completed. Even then, he demanded I pay while standing at the door. All the time was talking with a level of disrespect to my husband. With the quality of the work and the harassment for payment, it felt like they were holding a gun to my head for the whole weekend; I would not recommend Tree Care to anyone.

SHOCKING !! NEVER USE THESE COWBOYS !! DID A JOB - BROKE FENCE (NEVER TOLD ME) ONLY DID HALF A JOB GOING THROUGH CAB TO REPORT THESE SO CALLED UNLICENSED TWITS !!
