We contacted abbey to look at options to redevelop our garage into a gym/studio. Abbey was very helpful, pointed out that our budget would fall well short of the end cost of the plans and suggested we had the perfect spot for a garden room. Abbey designed a garden room which met our requirements and produced a creative design solution to deal with the sloping site by incorporating a retaining wall to maximise the size and height of the room. Abbey also introduced a builder who was competitive, fantastic to work with and delivered Abbey’s vision fantastically. We are very happy with the outcome and thankful to Abbey for taking the time to understand our requirements and presenting an alternative solution which is perfect!

Abi (Tice Architects) has been really proactive all through the design process and has helped us decide on a final plan through looking at all manner of options. We even did a mid build design change, at my preference, which typically clashed with Abi being on holiday but she still helped out to provide a solution whilst sipping on a cocktail :-) . I would certainly recommend Abi to others

We had been considering extending our property for some time but were not entirely sure how to go about it having never been through the process of designing an extension before. A builder recommended Abi so we made an appointment and had an informal chat with her to discuss some ideas and find out what was possible. Whilst we had a basic idea of what we wanted, Abi put the polish on it and came up with some fabulous ideas and designs. Abi made the whole process very clear to understand, including the planning and building regs procedures and kept us fully informed of progress at every step. Abi has great energy and enthusiasm for delivering a great job for her clients, she most definitely went over and above my expectations of her. We also ended up building a beautiful cedar cladded garden room on some unused land at the bottom of the garden which dropped down two foot and was difficult to get to. Abi suggested raising it to the same level as the rest of the garden which we did and built the garden room on top with an a-joining hot tub area - it looks fabulous. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Abi to family and friends and, indeed, have already done so. I don’t know what I’d have done without her to be honest.

Absolutely delighted with Abi’s service. Zero fuss, super efficient, personable and lightning fast. Had a design (for 2 storey extension) we were completely happy with after her first visit and drawings submitted to planning within 48 hours of that. Had a line of communication ever since and all tweaks have been implemented collaboratively and rapidly. Planners requested some revisions, which were acknowledged and adjustments made same day. Permission subsequently granted within a week of resubmission. Looking forward to continuing the next stages with Tice & Co. Highly recommend!
