Alexander provided excellent help and advice designing our small garden. Very helpful and accommodating with our wish list and the challenges it brought. He gave us help all along the project and advice on various materials we could use. We were very happy with the design process from start to finish. Would not hesitate to use again if we need another garden designing in the future.

On the recommendation from a friend, we sent an enquiry through the website regarding a large garden renovation we have planned after the building work for our extension is completed. We started with an initial design visit which went smoothly and we finished feeling rather impressed with the suggestions Alexander was able to produce. After seeing various images and videos showing the quality and diversity of designs the team have previously produced, we were very happy to progress with the full design package. It took a few design suggestions to find one that we were completely happy with, the main issue for us being an existing pond and mature fir trees that we have to plan around. When we received our design booklet and finished video, we could not believe how impressive the garden looked. We were very, very pleased with the quality of the design and the level of detail that is considered for each area of the garden. We have watched our video numerous times and get excited every time we watch it to get started in the garden. We have a local landscape gardener who will follow the plans given to us, and once completed we will follow the planting plans that accompanied our design. Alexander and Stephanie are worth their weight in gold when it comes to visualising fantastic planting arrangements and beautiful garden layouts. Their ideas were so imaginative and they were so lovely to work with. We called up on the Monday to book our initial design visit and they were able to fit us in that week. Communication throughout the project was very honest and timely; we were kept up to date the whole way through. The images that they produced are incredibly impressive and look so real that we had to look twice to check that they weren't photographs of real gardens! We are so happy with our garden plans, and feel it was a very good investment decision.

We cannot recommend The Yorkshire Country Gardener enough. We started with a visit from Alexander who is the head designer. He was very thorough and attentive to our needs. His three initial 2D designs were very impressive, we then picked our preferred design and from then we received our planting plans and CGI images of our future garden in a very professionally printed book. Everything about the service we received was outstanding, and exceptional value compared to other quotes we received for garden design services around York.

We have been meaning to sort out our garden for a long time but always struggled due to the sheer cost of landscape gardening services. We found Alexander and Stephanie following a recommendation who offer a full design service for a very affordable price. The great thing about their service is the highly detailed garden plan with so many very impressive images and planting plans, essentially creating a blueprint for our future garden. We have now handed this over to a local contractor we have found who is following the plans and creating our garden.
