Philip Grigg5 StarExcellent quality food, served piping hot. Always busy and rightly so as it is such good value for moneyTuesday 21st February 2023
Liam Fraser5 StarCame for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. The food was nice with generous portions. I had the pumpkin spiced latte it which was great. The prices are also very reasonable! The queue to order food was huge but didn't take too long to be served. Will definitely be backSaturday 15th October 2022
Tim Robinson4 StarWent with the parents for the buffet breakfast. Very busy, lovely decor inside.
There are 2 price points for the buffet breakfast... £5 and £6. The cheaper options gives you 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 black pudding and 1 egg. The £6 is 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 1 black pudding and 2 egg.
You then to help yourself under the watchful eye of the server to beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns and fried bread. Toast is also included in this where you run the bread through the conveyor toaster.
The layout is a bit strange where you make your toast before going far right to be served the limited items then working right to left to get your help yourself items before meeting back up with the toaster where you started....I feel this layout could be jiggled so you just go left to right
Food was very nice, sausages a little pink but we went mid service so thr kitchen could have been chasing the food given how busy it was.
Anyone going for the buffet experience should be aware of what is help yourself and what isn't as the menu does not mention any of this.
Although it sounds a bit of a moan, once you know what to expect and you're sat with your food it was very nice and filling. The staff were very polite and helpful and I'd go again just to see the barrister :)
If you're passing or you're close by, it is definitely worth the trip inWednesday 15th September 2021
Andrea Sewell1 StarWell what a shocking experience there today. Went with an elderly lady for lunch and a catch up. We missed 40 minutes of our time together as I was stood in a queue waiting to order. Only one lady on the till at a peak time, 12.10. No one was rushing. If I’d have known it would take this long I’d have left and gone elsewhere. All staff could do with some new white t shirts or a different uniform as they looked very grubby and definitely not white. Food was ok when it arrived, can’t say the chips were piping hot. It was nothing special. Someone needs to check the drains where table 11 is situated as we could both smell something. Won’t be rushing back.Friday 21st April 2023
brian lord2 StarNot happy at having to pay an extra 75p for an alternative milk because I have an allergy to dairy, the manger/owner is completely profiting from this because of an allergy and the alternative milk you used (oat) is only £1.50 for a carton, how can you justify this please?Thursday 13th April 2023
