We employed Tom to tidy up a box hedge for us in April 2022. Our first impression: he seemed like a nice guy, particularly when he walked my husband around our garden and told us what he felt we didn’t need to change. We appreciated this as there is nothing worse than traders trying to create jobs just for the sake of business. Unfortunately, we both felt that this was the only moment of integrity demonstrated. We were quoted £365 for the job. We felt this was a lot at time but Tom said it would take a day and a half to complete (obviously we know there are overheads included). That said, the job took no more than 6 hours on one day. We didn’t feel it was a neat job either and asked him to come back and tidy up the lower part of hedge which had a lot of stray branches. I’m sorry, but £365 for less than 6 hours of work is not only overpriced, it is a significant overestimation of time. We couldn’t help but feel incredibly cheated, which is a shame because our first impression was a good one and he was recommended by a mutual neighbour.

I needed a transformation for my back garden that had been neglected for years. Tom came to assess the situation, and gave recommendations for the best course of action. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and gave a fair quote for the work. The work was completed quickly, and thoroughly to a high standard. All in all, a very pleased customer.

My garden was in need of tidying so that I can prepare for the rest of the year and due to my disabilities I needed some help. Tom was recommended to me and I’m very glad for it. He arrived promptly and worked solidly and efficiently all day. He brought all the tools that were required and took the time to find out what I needed and I’m extremely pleased with the end result. I can actually see the pond again! The frogs will be pleased! I’m looking forward to planting this year and watching my garden bloom. I’d heartily recommend him. Thank you

Very pleased with the whole process - from making the booking to getting the job completed! Tom arrived promptly at the agreed time and got to work straight away. I needed some weed to be cleared on the side of my driveway and some that were growing between the paving slabs. Tom cleared it all in no time and cleaned up all the mess that came with it. He also gave me loads gardening advice and tips which hopefully will prevent my driveway from turning into a forest again. Would highly recommend.

We have been searching for a gardener for some time however the results we often get are “handymen” who care more about cutting trees down or general tidy up work. When we came across Tec Mow, we finally found what we have been looking for. Tom from Tec Mow visited us for a quotation and explained what would work best for our current garden along with the best plan for maintenance. The results were amazing! We now have a better understanding of our garden and also the developments we would like to make. We decided to keep Tom on for regular visits and always have him on hand for all our gardening advice and support. I would recommend Tec Mow for all levels of gardening needs, but most importantly for a professional knowledge-based service.
