Wonky fence is now straight and upright. Our fences had suffered over the last 30 years. Several panels had been replaced with waney lap (which was a waste of money) after wind damage and the posts had tipped and tilted due to our clay soil. We finally chose to have proper solid fences and posts/bases replaced by Stan Dawes. Local firm with a good reputation. Had to wait due to supply issues but worth it. Job done in less than a day. They even delivered the panels in advance so we could paint before fitting. Good price, job well done. Definitely recommend

Firstly I will start off to say the products are great and of good quality. However, I am currently still waiting on a date for my works to be undertaken after receiving my quote in the first quarter of 2021. Continue to call to be told, the person who is dealing with it is on holiday, away from the office, etc, and that I will receive a call back next working day...8 months worth of chase ups and nothing! It would be lovely to hear back from them....but not holding out much hope!

Emailed my order and asked for a delivery date and how i pay. Two weeks later i'd heard nothing so phoned. I was told my order hadn't been placed and the woman who dealt with orders was on holiday so i'd have to wait a week and then phone. Phoned a week later and then had to phone another 3 times to chase a delivery date, so finally over 5 weeks after emailing my order it was placed. The delivery lads arrived, didn't bother to knock and it was only when my partner heard a load of banging he looked out of the window to see them quite literally throwing £700 of fencing panels in a heap on the front garden. He went out and all the delivery lads did moan was it was Friday and everyone else had gone home and they were still delivering. Then went to paint and fit them and the quality is appalling, these are the roughest rough saw fence panels i have ever seen, they look like they've been thrown together, not a patch on our others from another supplier in Wigan. Very shoddy customer service, delivery and quality. Would give no stars if i could, GO ELSEWHERE
