Our Design Concept
We believe in creating long-lasting and unique gardens where plants are once again the main feature, enhancing the natural look of plain stone and wood, the irregular lines of shrubs edged footpaths, or the exploding mix of perennial flower’s colours. No matter the style of the garden we are designing, we always suggest to our clients a minimal impact approach which is more sustainable and economical than making big and often unnecessary changes. We aim to build gardens starting from what is already on site, working with the actual ground levels and gradients, reducing the hard-landscaping to the minimum necessary but always keeping in mind the client’s needs.
What we can do for you
Softscape Gardens is based in Cambridge, works in Cambridgeshire, all the surrounding counties and beyond. We presently follow projects from the Chiltern Hills to Dereham, Norfolk.
We design, build, and refurbish residential gardens and commercial green spaces. Maintenance services are limited to the gardens we build and rejuvenated gardens.

Dana Weaver5 StarAlessio is amazing at what he does, he has so much knowledge about not only the practical things (soil, plants, care etc), but also about design. He knows the right questions to ask you to help you get exactly what you want out of your outdoor space. Alessio somehow made sense of my incoherent ramblings and delivered the garden of dreams! The plants were indeed low maintenance, full of colour and they have really transformed our garden. What I like the most is his passion, knowledge and the way he enjoys everything he does.
