Tony and his crew did an excellent job of digging up, levelling out and paving our driveway in September last year. This included paving around the side of the house, considering flow of water, installing a soak away and dropping the kerb. They were extremely approachable and were always happy to talk about what could be done, including cost saving opportunities (we decided against a small wall in the end). They even took time to discuss with my neighbour which to be completely honest they didn't have to do. I would and have recommended to my neighbours.

Tony and his team did a fantastic job. They were all very hard working and each stage of the job was completed to a high standard. Tony was more than accomodating in making last minute changes and doing additional work that we requested. Communication has been good before, during and after the job. Overall a high quality finish in all aspects, great value for money and we would definitely recommend.

Absolute cowboys, avoid! Unfortunately Smart Paving were the sub contractor the company that did our drive used to do the final resin bound top coat. Where do I start with their negligence and unprofessionalism?! They didn't mix the aggregate, simply poured individual bags into their mixer so we ended up with 3 different finishes on the drive. Smart Pavings initial response? They would do whatever necessary to resolve. What actually happened? They told the company they sub contracted to that the job had cost them money and they weren't prepared to resolve. They also left resin footprints all over our edging pavers, over the front of the drive, in our garage! on the pavement and around the storm drain where they poured excess resin away. They promised to come back and clean, but never did. It's fair to say their guarantee is as good as their word i.e. it's worthless. The mark of a company is not just how they work generally, but how they resolve issues and they have proven they are a classic cowboy outfit. I didn't engage smart paving myself, however was at the end of their negligence so thought it was worth warning others.

Tony and his team were fantastic, very pleased that we approached them to complete our block paved driveway. Brilliant communication and suggestions to make our driveway as good as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and Tony was more than happy to take the time to discuss anything and went the extra mile to complete all the little touches that finish off the job perfectly . They worked quickly, effectively and very tidily throughout. 100% recommend them as good value, trustworthy tradespeople. Thanks again Smart Paving!
