Quality work from Dean, Terry and team. They did our decking 15 years ago, had it replaced last year by them and now they have re slabbed the bottom of the garden. Have now asked them to slab the front of the house now. Always nice to speak too and there work is of a very high standard. Always clean up after themselves and are very respectful.

We needed our garden redone with concrete posts and kickboards to keep our husky in from running off. also we needed all the garden cleared of all trees etc and then have a nice lawn put down. service was excellent and quality was brilliant. our kids and dog love our garden and this was completed over 4 years ago and still as good. would highly recommend. They also provide examples of previous work with pictures of before and after which is great.

Terry and Dean....what can I say. Conscientious, attention to detail and above all , a perfect team. Terry and Dean totally redesigned our back garden. Everything was dug up and left with a blank canvas. We had new concrete fenceposts and wooden panels,handmade pergola,sandstone slabbing,water pipes and drainage refitted and all of this was done whilst socially distancing. What a fantastic team. Highly recommended again. Thanks again Mandie & Glyn

This is not a review but a reply for an educated man unable to follow simple instructions. When a turfed lawn is laid it is common sense to water it morning and evening. With this reply to Paul Stone who I see has changed his review to place himself in a better light. The truth of the matter is he didn't water the lawn or box hedge plants, essential maintenance for a new lawn. We thank you for the generous appraisal of our Company. We endeavour to work with our customers to solve any disputes. No one in this company has ignored your ‘repeated’ calls to our mobiles; and you had a visit from us regarding your complaint. However, when we visited we found nine of the 93 box hedge plants dying, not 153, you do exaggerate, silly man. We looked at your ‘badly’ laid lawn and you assured me that you did as was instructed regarding the new plants and newly laid turf and that is to water in the morning and last thing at night. This however was not done, even though you assured me that you had, the ground down to TWO inches, 50mm in new money, was in fact bone dry. I overheard your conversation with my colleague that you didn’t in fact water the lawn or the box hedge plants as it would affect your water rate bill. You sir are your own worst enemy and calling us shysters is unnecessary. As a gesture of goodwill we said we would order some new plants with our supplier and would replace them. The turf had shrunk without the application of water hence the gaps appearing between them. I contacted our supplier and questioned why the turf was shrinking and he said lack of water. I have job completion photographs that, when enlarged on the monitor shows that you cannot see any gaps between the edges indicating that the lawn was correctly laid and out of the scores of lawns we have laid none has ever encountered the shrinkage. We use top quality turf as recommended by the industry, not your cheap turf that can be purchased in your local DIY store. After your answer machine message was received, accusing me of ignoring you, I immediately called and told you the new plants had been ordered, and that we would replant them when the opportunity arose as we are working away at the moment. I won’t give you any stars either as the instructions left with you were never adhered to, even though you were more than happy with the completed job at the time. We never walk away from a job unless the customer is happy. Strange how the turf not exposed to the sun and sheltered showed no sign of stress and required its first cut. Amazing how 11 years of trading there is only one complainant. We are doing something right.

I have given them one star because I can't post this with no stars. It was a total waste of time and money employing these two shysters. This firm is useless. In June 2017, I employed this firm to replace a lawn which included removing the top soil to depth of 4 inches and plant a box hedge of 150 plants. a small number of plants were left over which I planted myself. They did not remove the top soil as there was "a lot of worms in it" instead they put 2 bags + 2 bags I had in my garage, of soil improver and dug that into the top soil, The new lawn was laid leaving gaps where the turfs was not laid butting onto each other. The box hedging was laid in a narrow border against the footway where it was to shallow due to the concrete below, subsequently several of the plants have died. Terry came back and looked it and tried to convince me it was due to a lack water. I agree, it was obviously caused by the shallow soil draining off quickly and the roots having nowhere to grow. The whole of the box hedge is yellow even after the recent and continuing heavy rain. He agreed to replace the plants and said he would order more. this was several weeks ago. I have made numerous phone calls and been repeatedly told they would come a sort it out, so far they have failed to do so. It is very obvious that they do not know how to plant shrubs and have no intention of replacing the or correcting the gaps in the lawn. The reason the box hedges has died back is because Smart Deck Ho planted it in 6 inches of soil on top of concrete? Not so Smart! This obviously work I need to do myself at more cost. It's now November and no Contact from the firm who will not walk away until the customer is satisfied.
