We choose Richard James for our windows because right from day one we were impressed with their professional and friendly service. We were invited to their workshop to meet the team and see how the windows were to be manufactured. Their advice was invaluable and communication was excellent right from quote to installation. Installation went smoothly and they did a fantastic job. We are very happy with our windows and can not recommend Dan and his team highly enough..... looking forward to our phase 2!

We chose Richard James Joinery to make us a brand new front door from scratch. We had a specific design in mind and decided to visit their workshop after viewing projects on their website they had recently undertaken. We decided to visit their workshop in Hexham and received a very warm welcome by a friendly team and invited into their workshop to witness at first hand the outstanding level of carpentry and workmanship. Dan and his team guided us through the whole bespoke process with outstanding levels of detail and meticulous planning from start to finish. The experience is so intimate and bespoke that you even communicate with and watch the first class carpenters build your pride and joy during follow up visits which they actively encourage. We now have a beautiful hand made front door exactly the way we envisaged and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excellent company. outstanding!

We needed to replace a metal up and over garage door and our front door. We wanted to go back to traditional wooden doors that would be in keeping with our traditional semi. From the moment we contacted the team for design and concept ideas right through to project completion we have beer impressed and extremely satisfied with their professional, quality of work and communication throughou. It was evident after the initial consultation the team are committed to offering the highest quality of product and design, delivered with the very best levels of customer service. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. Murphy the dog is a fantastic addition to the team!

I can not fault this company. They replaced 14 sliding sash windows in our house. They were not cheap but competitively priced and for the quality of the work they were excellent value. Beautiful windows, expertly fitted by staff who were a pleasure to have in the house. They were highly professional, attentive, great communication, hard working, thoughtful and good company. A visit to the workshop was well worth it to see what excellent standards they work to. They are simply a superb company I can not recomment too highly.
