We are pleased to announce that our cafe in Newchurch is now re-open with a brand new name, "Poppies Cafe", and a brand new menu. We have also improved the cafe, with a new floor and refurbished customer toilets.
The cafe team can't wait to see you all again!

I received a fried breakfast on a plate suitible for a 6 year old. I appreciate times are tough but come on! a virtually non existent shrivelled burnt piece of bacon along with baby portion is unacceptable and downright stingy . In all my years I can honestly say this is the worst fry up I've ever had, so small I was still hungry afterward. Poppies is the only place I know where you can eat and feel like you never took a single bite of food. Not worth the money and definitely not satisfying. Thankfully Morrisons cafe is just down the road.👎Wednesday 31st May 2023
Gabriella Demetriou2 StarLimited variety and subpar breakfast! Only offered 3-4 types of breakfast, all a variety ‘English breakfast’ that was tasteless and terribly oily. Beans tasted as if they had come from a can. Service, while friendly, was a bit slow. Bread was thick cut and delicious and perhaps the best bit of the whole breakfast. Would not recommend for breakfast if you are used to very high-quality breakfasts or home-made baked beans!Saturday 30th April 2022

Cafe seating inside, or out amongst the plants and flowers. Tables with sunshades.
Wide range of food. From cakes and scones, sandwiches 🥪 to full breakfast, and much more. Caters for vegetarians .
Friendly helpful staff.
