A stunning surprise! We visited mid-July when the garden was in full bloom and it is meticulously kept. The impression is like a crescendo in music: You start slowly when entering the first walled garden with some roses, herbacious plants and vegetables, then you walk through a gate in the wall and - bang! - one of the densest double border I have ever seen. Undeniably designed in the Arts and crafts style, every step provides a new perspective. The massive blue delphiniums stand out and match the roses optimally. Don't miss the short stroll at the stream.
