Basically they walked off the job half way through, stating they would loose money, despite providing me with a written and agreed quote for the job. There was no discussion or option to finish the job if I agreed to pay any increase.....they simply turned up, told me they couldn't finish the job, collected their tools and left. They had previously failed to turn up the day before, with no phone call or answer to my calls, voice mail or text message. On another day they arrived, only to tell me that they wouldn't actually be working due to reasons which made no sense to me. Despite advertising "no deposit is required until completion of work to customer satisfaction" I was asked for £3,000 (the job quote total was £5,500) at the end of the first day....I reluctantly agreed to pay £2,000. Three days later I was asked for another £2,000 and due to the job now being half way complete, I again reluctantly agreed to pay £1,500. No more work was completed following this payment. On the day they walked off the job £1,000 was returned to me, leaving a balance of £2,500 paid. They also left some bricks and cement worth a few hundred pounds behind. I asked to be provided with a breakdown of labour and materials costs to account for the £2,500 paid but despite being told he would send it over later that day, I have so far not received this. Nevertheless, I would think that with the work carried out and the materials left behind, the amount paid is probably about right.....but that's very far from the point!! I also asked on four occasions for a copy of the guarantee they advertise but received nothing. I gave the job to this company due to two driveways they had done locally which looked very nice. However, aside from the guys on the job being very polite, I can only strongly advise against using this company in my experience. They have left me completely in the lurch with a dug up garden and I will now need to find another company to finish the job, which will likely take weeks.

Parking spaces sorted on time and for a reasonable price. Noticed a couple of small issues, but I don't think these were the firm's fault. Anyway, they were fixed a few weeks later when Michael came round, without me having to contact him, to check everything was fine.
