I arranged for Oakes landscapes to attend my house to give me a quote for landscaping my garden on a Saturday morning, I waited in but no one turned up. I rang up and was told he had accidentally thrown my telephone number and address away, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we rearranged for a few days time. He arrived the second time and took great interest in my plans and offered me a number of alternatives, took all the measurements and my email, stating he would email me a quote over the following weekend. The weekend came and went and no quote. I rang and was told he would do it before the end of the week. Again no quote arrived and I rung back the following week and again was told he would sort it asap. No quote arrived and then he stopped answering the phone. I waited three weeks for a quote wasting a big chunk of the summer. If he didn't want to do the job why not just say at the time or during the following phone calls, instead of wasting a month of my time when I could have been getting quotes elsewhere.
