I was a bit of an awkward customer by ordering from the shop by phone and wanting some garden furniture before the weekend. We initially went on Bank holiday Monday and the person at the till was really helpful. On the phone I spoke initially with Colin and later with Chris and they were both really helpful and made sure that I got the furniture on time. The delivery driver arrived on Friday and was THE best delivery driver that I have had. He brought the furniture into the back garden, which wasn't easy but he happily helped. Great place and great customer service. Happy customer.

You won't find a better selection of plants than what Newbank have to offer. Relatively fairly priced, amazing displays and knowledgeable staff. They also care for their plant stock unlike some other large chains whose expertise can be questionable. This is the best garden centre in the area and you're guaranteed not to walk away empty handed!

Called for some decorative pots for our hanging baskets around 5pm, knowing the official closing time is 5:45. We were having a little look round the herb selection approx 5:25, when we were passed by two members of staff one after the other tapping their watches telling us it was eight minutes to closing! I have experienced this on several visits here as I don’t finish work early enough to go sooner. If the staff wish to go sooner surely the closing time or the staff could be changed. I don’t enjoy building myself up to go somewhere which is meant to be pleasurable, preparing for the disappointed looks from staff having to serve customers. If you are planning to visit I recommend going elsewhere which is what we plan to do from now on.

Love this garden centre! I go many times a year. If family and friends come to stay they always want to go for a visit there. The staff are lovely and friendly. They are very knowledgable about the plants and trees and always willing to give good advice of where to plant them and how to look after them. Each season of the year they have new fresh ideas and layouts. You can’t not like it. 🙌😊
