From the initial meeting with Mark Wiffen of Marlin Design we were impressed with his understanding of the needs of our family for a new home. Mark made welcome suggestions that became incorporated in the final design. Mark clearly explained the planning process and met all the deadlines that were set and was always prompt in responding to queries. The Building Regs Drawings and Specifications for the works were remarkably detailed and "foolproof". Unfortunately our first set of builders were appalling but with Mark's invaluable help in drafting reports of grave defects in workmanship we were able to cancel our building contract without the risk of litigation. The new builders are fabulous and we are near completion as at October 2021. We heartily recommend the excellent Marlin Design.

As a building contractor, when I recommend an architect to my clients it needs to be someone I can trust who's professionalism will in turn reflect well on me. Mark and his team are outstanding in their field, the care and attention to detail they put into their work is second to none. I've seen drawings and specifications from hundreds of different architects over the years and I've never seen the amount of detail put into them that Marlin Design do. This in turn allows me to give a more accurate quotation, the client knows exactly what they are getting and I know exactly what I'm building. Great service from Mark, i would highly recommend anyone considering getting professional drawings for your house extensions to use Marlin Designs, not only did they delivered on time but on budget, Mark was always on the other end of the telephone to answer any queries you may have. I found Mark to be very professional and easy to work with throughout the process, I would definitely recommend his services to anyone.
