We had been unhappy with our lighting for several years. I wanted more light in our kitchen and downstairs spaces, however, my wife thought it was too bright, and it seemed impossible we could both get what we wanted. James was most helpful and listened to our individual concerns, and explained that the overly-bright appearance was due to high glare from the ceiling spotlights, but that we actually had very low, and uneven light - especially in the kitchen at worktop level. Light My Space have transformed our living spaces and our new Bluetooth mesh control system means we can activate, set and dim any, or all, of our lighting from a simple, cable-free switch or from our phones. Our lighting looks fantastic and we have been telling everyone about it as we are really excited and impressed with it, and also with Light My Space that recommended and sourced suitable lights for us. My only regret is not doing this (and calling Light My Space) sooner!

We needed lighting at home so that we didn’t have to compromise what was required for our expanding online networking business and having elegant and cosy lighting to relax together as a family. We now have some stunning new lighting in our living and dining areas that are all adjustable, controllable and with programmable scenes so we can change the whole ambience immediately. You will be amazed at the difference well-designed lighting can make… we certainly were, and we are loving it!

James at Light My Space has transformed our kitchen and made it a place I can enjoy again. Our old lighting was not only dim and ugly, but the glare made it uncomfortable (and sometimes painful) for my eyes. James has put in a modern and subtle alternative and I love it - it has totally changed the whole room. Light My Space showed us that we don’t have to compromise on lighting. Even with challenges such as ours, where our low ceilings, a lack of natural daylight and a need for high quality, controllable light they found a great solution. We couldn’t be happier with the result. Did I say how much I loved my new lighting?

We intend this house to be our ‘forever home’ and wanted to invest in getting the layout, style and fittings that would suit our lifestyle and still look good in 10 years’ time. We worked with James to select some modern lighting that looks contemporary and timeless and incorporated LED and new technology solutions that are low maintenance and that won’t become obsolete any time soon. We also wanted some statement lighting for our living spaces and areas we use for entertaining. The lighting really complements the new rooms and as well as creating great accents and ambience, we love seeing the reactions of our family and friends to the aptly named ‘wow’ features. We were recommended to light MySpace when we decided to refurbish our office in 2019 and were so impressed with James's advice about the various lighting options available to us and the way in which he could source these and coordinate with the electrician who completed the installation. I can honestly say it has transformed our office from a rather dull building that looked sometimes shut from the outside to a light space with really clear displays that show off our clients properties beautifully. In addition to the advice about lighting, James gave advice about sectioning parts of our office and how we could create different spaces and if I was ever cynical about such industries, I cannot convey how impressed I have been. When the work was completed he visited to check the quality of workmanship and that we were happy with the work and did so with a natural enthusiasm that was most welcomed.
