Pete is absolutely fantastic. This was an enormous job. He was on time, very clear about what was happening at all times, as well as constructive and creative. He’s a lovely bloke and we really enjoyed seeing this project develop from a derelict space into the most beautiful modern garden.

Pete from Laywoods did a fantastic job on our Victorian terrace pathway. Cannot fault him in any way. He is a perfectionist who had many complimentary comments whilst laying the tiles by passers by. He is professional, reliable and with competitive pricing a tradesman I highly recommend. We have used him twice now and will not hesitate to use him again in the future.

We can't thank Pete and Jason enough for the job they did in transforming our garden. They completed a few weeks before the country got put into lockdown; so once bedded in, the new lawn has been an invaluable (and lovely) space for our family to be able to use over that time. The work was done during - what seemed to be - constant rain, but they both worked tirelessly (and very tidily, despite the level of mud!) to get it done, and were always pleasant and professional. The rain did eventually cause some problems with the fence warping, but Pete was quick to come and sort the issue, and in the unlikely event that there are any other issues, I'm confident that they would be sorted in a similar fashion. I hope that we will be able to employ Laywoods again in the future, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Laywoods installed a large raised composite decking for us. We are very impressed and happy with the work. From the quoting process to completion of the work, Pete and Jason were very professional. Pete did a fantastic job during the quoting stage to look for areas to bring the job within budget. The visualisations Pete provided gave a good and accurate idea of what the end result would look like. During the build, Pete and Jason were professional and very courteous. Valuably they were receptive and flexible to minor adjustments as the job came together and their ability to problem solve was quite impressive! We are very pleased with the quality of the job and it has transformed our space. Thank you!

Really disappointing after promising start. I haven't had any work carried out by Laywoods, however our experience of quote, consultation and communication were not great. Pete visited us and offered options, timeframe and a quote to follow, seeming up for the job. Following this, a quote was not provided and Pete was unresponsive to communication even though several pictures & emails were sent. When we finally made contact, lots of time wasted waiting which has now effected our other building work.
