He came to look at a couple of places to give me an opinion on what might be possible in terms of reconfiguration and extending. By the time I finally bought somewhere we had developed an easy understanding with each other that made the design process quick and exciting.
William created a kitchen/ dining space to make the most of the light with a corner window seat that has fabulous views of the garden. The exterior design features give a nod to the Georgian surroundings, but are unapologetically modern and strong.
The extension transforms an ordinary New Town basement flat into something fabulous. Its my favourite room in the flat. Even when the rain is pouring down I can sit in my window seat and draw energy from the light.Monday 30th August 2021
