The two people from this company who came did not speak English which made communicating properly to discuss things almost impossible. But the worst thing was the unpleasant surprise at being quoted £500 to remove the hedge and tree rubbish they had already chopped down (we had to keep it in the front garden and arrange another firm to remove at a non ludicrous price) and then claiming they had been at our house for longer than they had to get more cash. I would recommend avoiding.

Hired Ivan & Sons to build decking, planter box & sculpt trees. Overall delighted with the outcome and the overall experience! Ivan's team were punctual, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend to a friend or if I were to need any future work done on the garden

We hired Ivan and Sons to replace a wooden fence and build a new deck in our garden in Islington (N16). While the fence was done quickly and the final result is sturdy and exactly as agreed, the deck was a much larger job. We previously had a raised, semi-enclosed patio separated from the garden by large metal security grille / gate, and a strip of lower flagstones that spanned the back of the property. They removed the grille and built a large deck to cover both the patio and the flagstones to create a single level area, including a step down to garden level and several removable hatches so we can access drain covers underneath. The work was completed in three days (well within schedule) and I am thrilled with the final result - it makes our outside space so much more useable, we have been eating all our meals in the garden since it was finished! The quality of the work is very good, the team were friendly and responsive throughout, and the prices were reasonable and transparent. I would not hesitate to recommend Ivan & Sons, or to use them again myself.

Ivan and Sons did a great job installing a new fence in our back garden after Storm Eunice had blown it over. They were punctual, professional and efficient and we're extremely pleased with the final result. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for fence installation services and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if we considered getting further work done in our garden.
