Having passed my Carpentry & Joinery City & Guilds apprenticeship & institute of carpentry 37 years ago, I have always been very hands on & passionate about Joinery, despite seeing the industry standards dropping over the years. In July 2019 I decided to set up inside out restorations using my own skills and those of colleges I have worked with and trusted over the years, knowing we can fulfil customer requirements and exceed their expectations.
The majority of our work comes from recommendations & not advertisement.
We believe that a clean site is a happy sight & a safe Site, hence we will always ensure that the working area is kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
One of our greatest bug bears is communication.
We feel that communication is paramount in today’s world and hear of so many companies that do not communicate with their customers. Here at Inside out restorations we ensure we keep all our customers notified of arrival / departure times and any unforeseen events should they happen.
We believe our customers should be kept aware at all times.

Simon Jakeman5 StarMy garden was pretty much unusable, it was an embarrassment. Inside out restorations came along and in the space of two weeks totally transformed it into a well designed, stylish and easy to maintain outdoor space which we will use all year round.

John Shelton5 StarMartyn & his guys are great builders, they take on board your budget and work with you to solve problems and give you other ideas/suggestions- very helpful. took conservatory down, clearing the space nicely.
His plasterer did an extremely brilliant job in the garage, the walls & ceiling are so smooth.
Martyn also threw in some extra small jobs for free including sorting a wonky manhole cover.
Definitely recommend him & his team. Can’t wait for the next set of work to be done.Saturday 7th March 2020
Oliver Crick5 StarI can’t speak highly enough of Martyn and Inside Out Restorations, having initially installed a large decking area in 2021 he has since installed a bar on top of it which looks fantastic and more recently in May of this year installed a bespoke shed in an awkward garden space as well as reinforcing an internal floor and fixing issues with doors that I had. On each occasion he always listens to what you want, is happy to adapt along the way and is really clear on the costs. I highly recommend Inside Out Restorations.Wednesday 4th May 2022
kerry Lea5 StarMartyn and his team have done an amazing job in our garden. They removed the sloping garden/bank and built tiered sections and steps, making it so much easier to get up to the main garden area and for planting and maintaining the garden beds. We had a corner at the top of the garden, which was a bit of a wasted area and they put in a lovely cornered decking area. Can’t recommend Inside Out Restorations enough.
