Hugh's Garden

After working for many years as a builder and building surveyor, Hugh decided to develop his passion for designing and making garden products.

It started with a few roof and floor slates left over from a building project. He created some bird boxes in different styles and put them up on his garden fence. The result was really encouraging. The enthusiastic response from his neighbours (and some nesting Blue Tits who successfully produced a clutch of chicks…) inspired him to create new designs and his range of unique garden products continues to grow.

The Welsh slate is sourced from Snowdonia, Cwt-y-Bugail quarry (“shepherd’s hut”) and it’s enduring and attractive quality combined with Hugh’s designs brings art to your garden and luxury to the birds who visit.
