Hailey Wood Sawmill is situated on the edge of the Bathurst Estate woodlands, just off the A419 between Cirencester and Stroud. Proprietors Ian Elphick and Mark Gooding, took over the sawmill in 1996 and between them they have over 60 years of experience in the industry.
The company is proud to offer an old-fashioned and customer-friendly service to both trade customers and the general public.
We specialise in cutting oak beams and lintels to order and we also supply softwoods including larch sourced mainly from the estate, which can be untreated or treated and cut to customers’ specifications.

Kelly Snell5 StarI ordered an 8ft picnic bench from Hailey Wood Sawmill. I was told that it would take 3 weeks to be ready as they're built to order. The bench was ready after only 2 weeks and it was delivered the next day ready built. The bench is very sturdy unlike some picnic benches that you see online or in DIY stores. The price of it was £350 delivered which I think is excellent value as I can see the table lasting for years. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a bench or other garden furniture.Monday 13th June 2022

Personal service many times better than visiting one of the chains like B&Q for Garden Furniture, Oak Beams, Gates, Picnic Tables, Benches & Fencing. Also sell all kinds of sawn timber for the building trade or DIY.

Ianw Stokes5 StarJust off the A419, look out for the sign board for the sawmills. The staff were friendly and helpful giving us useful advice when selecting a garden table and benches. These looked to be more solidly build and cheaper than similar items found in DIY/Garden Centre stores. They also have a good range of treated timber for garden construction projects.Monday 21st May 2018
