Always use fresh petrol in your engine as it can begin to go stale within 4 – 6 weeks. Stale fuel will affect the performance and running quality of the engine and can stop it working altogether. Only buy as much as you need and don’t store big quantities. Alternatively mix your fresh petrol with a fuel additive which can keep it fresh for up to 3 years.
