Welcome to GK Turfing. Over 36 years ago Gary Kenyon launched our North East based Turf laying and Turf supply company and now we are recognised as being one of the best turf suppliers in the area.
The turf is harvested daily to ensure maximum freshness. Using the latest harvesting technology ensures less waste, and tidy uniformly sized rolls. We also provide a full lawn laying service using our expertise in ground preparation, rotavating and turf laying. Our ongoing work can be viewed at any time and no job is too big or small.
We can work any time including evenings and weekends and also offer several other services relating to your garden. This includes site clearance, drainage, fencing, flagging, grass seeding and levelling. Please contact us for a free estimate for any service you require.

Michelle Cavanagh5 StarAbsolutely spot on. Gary came out to quote for removing turf that had been lay by another company. The old turf needed to be taken up and away, ground needed fully levelling to correct errors made by the previous company and then new turf lay. David and Robbie that came to do the work were polite and very knowledgeable and offered plenty advice and aftercare information. The price quoted was by far the best I received and for the quality of work, it is 100% value for money. I would recommend GK Turfing to anyone who asked without hesitation.Friday 15th September 2023

The lads did a fantastic job moving the top soil and laying the turf. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the finished product. Photos attached.
