Had Matt and Dean quote for a major overhaul of our front garden last year. Price was very competitive, but when the work got underway (Feb '22) there were issues including volume of soil to be extracted, gradients, services etc - a big job made bigger by these problems. Project was to build a patio area off the front of the house, level twin car-parking bay at the bottom (inclined garden, so a big excavation) and shrubbery-type area between the two. There is a pathway from the patio to parking, with sleeper-steps linking the two. Throw in a lorry breakdown and several storms to content with ("Dudley" et al), so not as straightforward as first thought. However, the team were always polite, hard working and diligent - even after some tricky 'site discussions' we had about design amendments - with the result being that we now have a re-imagined front garden that is receiving admiring comments from all who pass, and that we're delighted with. Would recommend :)

Matt and the team were absolutely brilliant, their work ethic is amazing. From receiving the quote through to completion was very professional but with the personal touch. Very quick, reliable and trust worthy. The team were very hard working, they cleaned up each day and from arriving at 8:30 they never stopped until the end of the day no matter what the weather. We were so impressed with their work on our garden that we asked them to tarmac our driveway too. They came back a few days later to make sure everything was still ok and we were happy, very impressed. Top team and we would well recommend them, in fact we have done to friends and neighbours. Thanks guys, very happy with our patio, false grass and driveway. Some before and after pictures. Can’t wait to enjoy the summer in our fab garden!

wow great work done by two top blokes matt and liam cant fault them in anyway from when they turn up to when they left very polite had abit of a laugh and joke with them while they kept working in very hot weather both have a great fine eye for detail will definitely use again if need to and will happily recommend if i could give more than 5 stars i would

We used Garden & Driveways recently to replace our patchy, weed-filled garden with artificial grass, and extend the existing patio at the same time. Matt and Lee(?) worked extremely hard, in awful weather to complete the job on schedule. The finished product is excellent and absolutely meets our expectations. The garden looks great & the kids can't stop running around on it and my wife & I can't wait for some sunshine to enjoy the extended patio. I would recommend G&D for any landscaping work in the future and will contact Matt again when we're looking at getting our driveway tarmacked too.
