Fuller Associates have helped drive our building project from start to finish. They produced the most innovative solutions to our particular build. They helped us find the right builder and ensure we had a robust contract in place and then project managed the build. The last stage was particularly helpful as Emma, our experienced project manager, ensured our funds were only released for work done, that work was done on time and to a high standard and was responsible for any difficult conversations with the builders. The end result is great and largely on budget. We recently employed Fuller Associates to assist with a complete refurbishment of a property. We purchased the property as a three bedroom house and with the help of Fuller Associates have successfully converted it into a six bedroom property to be used to accommodate people in need of emergency accommodation. We worked closely with David Fuller and Emma Weaver who provided us with an excellent and very professional service throughout the refurbishment. Littlehampton Quakers used Emma Weaver from Fuller Design to project manage the refurbishment of our Grade II listed Meeting House in Church Street, Littlehampton which needed some extensive alteration to make it more accessible to people with disabilities, particularly wheelchair users. We found her oversight and advice throughout the whole process invaluable and cannot imagine how much more difficult it would have been without her. She was able to help us when difficult choices arose, acted as an intermediary with the builders and the planning and listed building departments and generally guided us through what could have been a very fraught and difficult process. She took on board our decision making processes and worked with them in a sympathetic and understanding manner whilst maintaining professionalism throughout. We found her help absolutely invaluable. David and the team at Fuller Associates have been an integral part of an 18 month renovation project since we acquired our converted barn in Arundel. When we purchased the house David initially undertook a comprehensive survey and recommended reputable contractors to carry out an initial overhaul of the property. It was the next phase where David and the team really excelled. They collaborated with us to design a 2 storey extension to the barn that was not only inkeeping with the historic nature of the property, but also delivered the enhanced space we craved for our expanding family. David was excellent in the production of the design which not only looked superb, but incorporated the practicalities of cost and planning considerations. He was extremely patient and open to feedback before finalising the plans submitted to the planning department at Arun District Council. Upon commencement on site David was hands on helping us solve inevitable minor problems and also recommending and assisting in the sourcing of high quality materials and products that suited our budget. We have ended up with a transformed house which we know we will be happy with for many years to come. Although I have now asked him to design a new garage / annexe so he’s not finished yet!! I knew instantly that Andrew Fuller and his team were right for our renovation project. I was immediately impressed by his passion for Sussex period buildings and his knowledge of the complex local planning system and building regulations, all of which underpinned his careful designs. Andrew’s attention to detail was absolutely paramount to the success of the project – from the initial drawings, to contractor selection, project management, and indeed to the selection of materials. Any issue that arose was met with creativity and sympathy to the building, demonstrating Andrew’s utmost professionalism throughout the project. His collaborative approach and his successful working relationship with the builders and other professionals meant the project ran very smoothly. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andrew and his team to any prospective client. Having taken on a large renovation of a Grade II listed property in Arundel, we brought on board David Fuller of Fuller Associates, a local firm with lots of local knowledge to help us. We are very grateful for David’s advice while we planned what we wanted to do to our new home and for his help in gaining all the planning permission and building consents/warrants required. It was not a simple refurbishment and we ended up having to do a lot more work than originally thought to satisfy the planners but it would have been almost impossible and certainly a lot more stressful without David’s guidance and knowledge of conservation and planning requirements in the area. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and are thoroughly enjoying our new home. We inherited a fundamental design for a replacement dwelling on a superb 2 acre plot at the top of Slindon, and sensitively redesigned this stunning Georgian style home. We worked closely with the Client to provide generous internal spaces which perfectly suited their requirements. An Associate Interior Designer and Landscape Architect worked with us to create a stunning end result. Our brief was to significantly enlarge and refurbish what was a dated 1920’s house to create a spectacular ’New England’ style seaside home. We worked closely with an interior designer and the Client to carefully develop the interiors, and with a superb contractor we were able to oversee the completion of this spectacular property. After undertaking a feasibility exercise with the Conservation Officer at the Local Authority, we carefully designed extensions to sympathetically complement the original Tower, and went on to complete the extensions and a full refurbishment of the property.
