hi I'm ALEX as mentioned in the review below a "team leader" at Fenwick landscapes with 16 years experience within the trade. unfortunately during the job we had to sack a team of three lads leaving us in a difficult position with 3 jobs running, we also had our brand new £9000 tipper trailer stolen, leaving us even more in dis repair, on the flip side i was then brought in to complete the job. as stated on customers review "we got on with it really well" The customer has posted pictures and snags prior to the complete or finished job. his review is unfair and does not portray us as a business and the final finished project. we built him a brand new set of steps at our own cost and refused to lay over old slabs making it look "diy". we also laid 18n meters extra of sandstone at no extra cost and added 10 tonne of hardcore which customer refused to pay. I also laid 34 soldier course bricks which customer claims we damaged. below are the photos of the rectified work and we at Fenwick landscapes will continue to do our work with pride, detail and precision.

Further to the fake review left by Alex a team leader at Fenwick Landscapes. Having paid, £23,500 for what we lead to believe would be a top notch job and having been messed around for weeks on end. Below are the pics taken this morning which according to Alex's review of yesterday is of a job completed with pride detail and precision. If you are a business owner and express dissatisfaction with a job the team leader at FL will take it upon themselves to leave incorrect negative reviews out of spite for your business(see pic below). Said team leader also phones up your place of work to abuse and threaten you to the point where you report it to the police. He also urinates in your garden. I could write an essay but not enough room. The brand new set of steps was in the quote the area hasn't grown the hardcore was in the quote. We have all the evidence we need... SHOCKING. Also paved over a drain which is either deliberate or incompetent.*Andy told you i was going to do this in response to your TEAM LEADER so it shouldn't be a surprise this whole scenario relates to your company and the shoddy work.

Having had a really bad experience with Fenwick Landscapes I had decided to write it off as a bad job and put it down to experience, however a few weeks later problems are still arising, they have still failed to deliver on their promises and I am still left with an unfinished job and in a real mess and with serious faults that need rectifying. Having read previous reviews before employing this company, what happened is a real shock and I’m sure it will also be a shock to other people, I will upload photos if possible. I have paid Fenwick Landscapes £23,500.00 for a job that should have been top notch, what I have is an unfinished job that looks like a poor DIY job and as a result of their poor workmanship I have been left to sort out mess and damage to my property. Fenwick Landscapes started my job in Mid-February this year, work started off slow and the young guys that they sent were very messy and were smoking illegal substances, Jake Fenwick came to check on them occasionally but essentially these untrained people were doing the job unsupervised whilst being under the influence of substances , they caused damage to my property. After 2 weeks or so little had been done and the place was damaged and a real mess, Jake Fenwick arrived and told us that he had sacked these individuals because they were on ##### , another customer had brought it to his attention. We thought at least he had done the right thing. He advised us that a more experienced team would arrive and catch up with the job, a couple of days later 5 people arrived and really pressed on with the job. I mentioned some of the things that were not right and pointed out some of the damage and they said it would be rectified, in relation to some paving that had been quoted for but not installed an employee called ALEX said there would be an extra charge for this and also an extra charge for the drainage as it was not previously quoted for, I pointed out that it had been quoted for and nothing more was said. At this point the job really excelled and looked lovely, I commented on how well it looked and told them once it was completed, I may get a quote for some additional work (Extra Paths etc), they advised me that it would be cheaper to get them to do it whilst they were already here, the extra works increased the bill from £17680 to £23,500 (£5820 worth of extra work). I agreed this and they started the additional work having got 90% of the original job done. This is where it all started to go wrong again. Skilled workmen disappeared from the job and works were left to newly employed unskilled people, one guy whom they had to teach how to unreal an extension cable one day, a few days later he was left unattended to complete my patio and paths! The job was rushed, corners were cut, it was clear that they needed to be off and onto the next job, it turned into a real disaster zone. They even took some parts up that they had started putting down and then ALEX attempted to talk nonsense in order to make it acceptable. About 5 weeks ago the job was nearly completed but not to a satisfactory standard and it’s been a battle to get them to complete the job, they sent some unskilled people to dodge a few things up and these have since been re-bodged again, they sent a guy to clean up weeks ago and all he did was hose a few bits down for a full day but didn’t move any of the rubble or debris etc, at this point some black patches appeared on my tarmac driveway (attempting to cover damage they had caused). Eventually a grab lorry arrived to collect some rubbish that had been left of the grass verge for weeks but this was not totally removed and the grass verge was left damaged. I asked JAKE FENWICK to come round personally to inspect the job and sort the problems out, he agreed but never arrived, we’ve not seen him since. Jake instead he sent ALEX round for a day to sort the problems out and to obtain the outstanding balance, all ALEX did was a few bits of rectifying bodged jobs and a bit of clearing up, he said that if he painted the drivewa(no more space)

We highly recommend Jake. He was a good price, always responsed to calls and messages and did a fantastic job! We had to put the job back a few weeks due to a material shortage but finally came on a Friday so we called him and at the drop of a hat, he set up Saturday and finished Sunday. He even squeezed in a small patio on the Monday which we hadn't even planned. We found him to be very polite, hard working and tidy, cleaning our whole drive before he left. We will definitely be using him in the future when it do our next phase. Thanks very much for a great job! 😃👍🏻

We’ve just had our garden completely restyled by Fenwick Landscapes and couldn’t be happier with the results. Very professional from the day they came to quote the job and all the way through the project. Outstanding quality of work and a lovely genuine team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fenwick Landscapes to anyone.
