Elliott La Porte1 StarWe chose to give Edward a low rating as we had to ask him to stop working on our driveway. At the quote stage we tried explaining with the attached photo and red line how wanted it to curve from our house to the street and reiterated repeatedly our need for it to be wide enough for two cars. However, he continued to lay it straight ignoring our requests. We couldn't understand why the entrance was set a foot narrower than what it was originally and smaller than where the original dropped curb began. Apparently we were rude when we challenged the work however we feel any reasonable person would be upset if, as a customer, requests were ignored and excuses given that directly impact their home. Realising the cost we would face correcting the work retrospectively meant that we had to ensure that it was done properly first time so we were forced to ask him to drop tools. Fortunately, we managed to find new a contractor team who were a pleasure working with and were able to finish correcting Edward's work in October 2021. Photos of their work are included to show what we originally asked Edward to achieve. Finally, our neighbours' new tarmac driveway was broken when our original concrete driveway was removed with his digger. Edward's repair was simply filling in with sharp sand. Again, we were lucky our neighbours were understanding and willing to wait for it to be properly fixed with tarmac although ELT Landscapes did not make any attempt to discuss this repair any further.Tuesday 2nd November 2021

Edward was able to come and provide a quote within 4 days, and completed the work on schedule and within quote balance, despite awful weather and some delays during the job. Additionally, Edward is extremely friendly and was able to offer some great ideas for our space during the quotation. Gavin Barber5 StarEdward of ELT Landscapes & his team have just done a brilliant job on our driveway. Everything fits more like a Mosaic than Block Paviours. Circular Planter & around the dreaded water meter, like they were cast that way. It took a week, just as was stated & everything was tidied up like they’d never been here. I couldn’t fault any of their workmanship & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Out of 10, I’d rate them as an 11. Photos should be on their Facebook page soon. 😊🧱Saturday 12th October 2019
