Being mobility challenged, I needed to improve access to a Victorian Garden Flat that my partner and I had bought in Bournemouth.The garden is huge and overlooks public gardens and the Bourne Stream, giving the impression that it extnds as far as the horizon. The garden had been neglected for many years and there was a very shabby area with a rotting old shed full of junk on a rotting deck to the side of the flat.The main entrance to the flats was and is an obstacle course for a wheelchair user so we decided to use the kitchen/living room door at the rear as the main, accessible entrance. Graham at Ed and Dale disussed with me his ideas to utilise the previously unusable area as protected parking, cleverly landscaping the area and widening and repaving a path from the garden gate, now motorised, to the kitchen door via a gentle ramp to a new deck level with the kitchen door. Ed and Dale supervised the entire project using excellent contractors who kept the site neat and tidy at all times, respectful of the neighbours and came in almost exacrly on budget. A superb job, tailored to my needs which will give me great pleasure for many years to come. Graham, I can never thank you enough.
