George McDonald4 StarI visited the store on Monday and was very impressed with the lady cleaner on duty. The toilets were spotless unlike the Ponteland branch I visited last week. I thought she was a staff member so I asked her for help. She explained who she was but guided me to the right area with a smile and good manners. There were no staff in this area so l left without buying anything. The Dobbies staff seem very unhappy. It doesn't give a good impression when the cleaner is the happiest person there.Tuesday 23rd August 2022
Daniel “Kira” Lackenby4 StarA neat little garden centre with plenty of other services (aquarium shop, in house cafe, children's soft play area, small Sainsbury's, pet goods) that we often find ourselves coming here for stuff other than gardening goods.
The loyalty scheme is well worth signing up for as well. As we often get vouchers for the cafe which can make for nice Saturday afternoon teas at more than reasonable cost.Saturday 5th March 2022

I do feel the plain scone would have been nice as a cheese scone, but really enjoyed everything on the plates, staff lovely and friendly, would definately go back again. 😁Thursday 18th August 2022
Graham Sexton3 StarI am not quite sure why these places are called garden centres anymore. I was trying to buy some simple plant pots. I couldn't find anything under £5/pot! Admittedly they looked decent and would last several years. I ended up buying online for about £1/pot. Not quite the same quality, but close enough for 20% of the price!Monday 4th July 2022
Trudy Young4 StarProbably the best scones I have had since being in the UK. I could spend hours wandering around this store. Makes me want to stop traveling and set up house again. Lots of cute, stylish homewares, though any of the furniture we sat on (outdoor lounges etc) were cheap quality and uncomfortable.Wednesday 3rd August 2022
