We are working on a garage conversion and needed an architect to draw up plans before we could begin, and in searching online, Davide Rizzo had the highest recommendations and a stellar reputation. After working with him, I can confirm that the reputation is absolutely earned. Davide came to visit us and took detailed measurements of the house, working carefully and diligently. Once done, he then took the time to explain in detail the process going forward. I am far from an expert on the specifics of building and planning, but Davide took us through everything in a way that felt straightforward and accessible. He was extremely friendly and generous with his time answering all our questions, and when he left we were already confident we had made the right decision in choosing him. Plans for our garage conversion were drawn up quickly, even quicker than expected. And when we requested some changes and some additional points added in, that wasn't a problem. Davide then handled the communications with the council, keeping us informed every step of the way. Working with him was a pleasure. Now the builder is in, and he too has had nothing but praise for the thoroughness of Davide's work and how it has made HIS job easier. An architect's plans are an essential core component of a building project, and so you want to invest in them being the best they can be. With Davide, the best is what you'll get. I approached Davide to remodel my flat as I was approaching retirement and felt the property was not working to my needs. Davide provided several options and explanations of how the flow would be enhanced.. Once we settled on an option Davide wrote the specification and invited builders to tender the project, we interviewed the builders and made our decision. Davide managed the Builders and contributed some bespoke design for housing of the TV and entertainment unit, built in wardrobes. bathroom and kitchen layout. He was happy to engage in discussions on decoration and lighting fixtures and fittings. Overall the project ran smoothly and within the budget I had set. The overall build quality is high and friends and family have been stunned by the end product.

Davide professionally guided us through the process of altering the layout of the downstairs of our house and converting our attic. Being novices at this, Davide, through his expertise and vision, transformed our home. We love the way that our home now looks and functions, and we would never have had the courage to do this without Davide's help. He oversaw the whole process from drawing up the plans, gaining planning permission, appointing builders to the final completed project.

Davide is the architect for my tenement Glasgow loft conversion. He knows what he is doing. He drew up the plans, put them through the planning process and, on the way, dealt with any concerns raised. He understands that I am not an expert and went beyond what I would expect. He is assisting with the finding and monitoring of contractors. He cares about what he does for you. I highly recommend him.
