We began working with Dan after struggling to engage builders to quote on our kitchen extension/ alterations project. As we had never undertaken any major works before we were unsure on the process, and on our first meeting Dan took the time to explain everything step by step in a clear and friendly manner. It became clear during our initial conversations that we would be unable to afford the size of extension that we had initially intended, and so Dan worked with us to achieve a solution which would both fit within our budget and achieve some of the key aspects which we had in our original plans. Once we had a final direction, Dan provided building regulation drawings and a full specification pack to enable us to attain detailed quotations. As we have a very specific budget we found this to be comforting to know the detailed costs upfront and minimise the risk of the job going over budget. Throughout the process Dan was kind, responsive and clear. Being a designer myself I am aware that I can be a difficult customer and Dan dealt with some very last minute changes without an issue. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend engaging Dan in any project, it will bring you clarity and peace of mind.
