You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? If your name is Bill Cordés you can! The wood supporting my ancient corrugated iron fence had rotted away and the fence was falling into next door's garden. I didn't think it was repairable but Bill proved me wrong. Everything about this job was difficult - small terraced house, access for materials meant carrying heavy planks round to the back of the building via a private car park; no access available to next door's garden so had to hop over the 5ft fence to secure the fence to the new wooden structure; next door's garden overgrown and required fighting against rambling rose bushes and raspberry canes, plus an old rotting shed; old rotten wood had to be removed from the fence without damaging the corrugated iron ... I would have given up. Bill and his colleague did the whole thing in less than five hours and made a truly impressive job of it. They tidied everything up and left it neater than it had ever been. I couldn't recommend Bill Cordés highly enough.

Bill and his colleague Dean removed an old wobbly fence and replaced 3 bays for concrete post, concrete gravel boards and closeboard panels. I found Bill to be professional, reliable, and I appreciated his responsiveness to my request for a quote and my queries. We are happy with the outcome and look forward to not worrying that our fence will get blown away by strong winds over winter.

Cordès Horticultural Ltd were our approved Jacksons Fencing installer, and installed a pair of Courtyard Gates and traditional featherboard fencing. Bill was knowledgeable and experienced in this work and we’d happily recommend him and his team. Bill plans ahead of his projects and arrives prepared for the day with all the tools, equipment and machinery required to make the job run smoothly and efficiently. He listened to our thoughts and requirements, and went out of his way to ensure these were met. I have used Bill and his team a few times now. So i thought it was about time to write this review so that anyone considering using their services can be well informed! The most recent work was having a complete new driveway out of bradstone blocks, with a jacksons fence along the side. From initial communication all they way through to the end, Bill kept me informed of every step. The price was perfect and he also came across some unforeseen nasties along the way… and just got on with it without any stress coming my way. Every cut is perfect. Everything is straight and neat. I also noticed the vast amount of prep that was undertaken to ensure that the driveway lasts for many years. To summarise, if you are considering using these guys, they are fantastic and i’d highly recommend them to friends and family without batting an eyelid.
