Hello and welcome to my website!
I’m Charlotte and I’ve been gardening most of my life – whether that was with my Dad on the vegetable patch or my Mum in the flower borders.
A few years ago I started a maintenance business part-time, while still working as a Social Worker. In 2018, I took the plunge to do gardening full time and I haven’t looked back. I now have a small team of gardeners who love the job as much as I do! We look after a range of gardens in and around York.
I am also a Garden Designer and have now helped many clients develop their garden into a space they love.
I hold a RHS Level 2 Practices in Horticulture qualification and am studying towards a Diploma in Garden Design with KLC.

She provided great support ordering the plants and placing them in the garden before planting. Charlotte is flexible and professional and the experience working with her was great. She's a good listener and has taken seriously the balance I want to achieve between a 'wilder' garden (for wildlife) and an 'ordered' space that looks well maintained and has a bit of the wow factor. She has made some exciting recommendations for how to change my backyard, which is currently sadly neglected. I'm enjoying the ongoing 'project' of this process with her. Jane Tooms5 StarBrowns Nurseries in Wigginton recommended Charlotte to us. We had two borders that had been neglected for two years so we’d literally dug everything up and wanted to start again. Charlotte’s expertise and caring personality was so refreshing. She passionately wanted to get everything just right for us and worked so hard. One of the beds had a lot of tree roots in it and was obviously really difficult to be prepared for plants and shrubs. We are so pleased with the end result, it really does look amazing. Afterwards, Charlotte sent me an identification map and information on how to care for my plants. It’s so comprehensive and will make things so much easier for me to give everything the best chance and keep it all looking so wonderful.
