We are a small local Driveway and Patio company based in Sudbury and Colchester. An owner managed company with many years of experience in the surfacing and domestic building trade. The team enjoys our work and we take real pride in the results we manage to achieve for our customers. We are always able to provide free, no hassle and no nonsense advice. Both surfaces if done correctly can provide a long lasting and excellent driveway for many years. However both have been blighted by bad builders and cowboys over the years. Both can be done properly and both can be done poorly, normally to save the contractor money without future care for the customer. We offer both surfaces and are always happy to provide advice on both and which would better suit your job and needs.

We used Michael (cantab civils) after being let down by another landscaper. Michael was very knowledgeable and on hand throughout the whole quotation process. He recommended quality slabs and explained the process and, key to us, reassured us given the prior experience we had. Michael and the team were on site timely every day and gave helpful updates. There were some hiccups along the way - all outside of Michael’s control - but he constantly reassured and was transparent with the issues. The outcome of all this was an incredible transformation of the garden. I would highly recommend Michael and the team, fully transparent, honest, and high quality work.

Mike and his team laid 2 lovely Sandstone Patios in our garden and they are absolutely brilliant! Mike was great from quoting through to completing the job. Extremely responsive on the phone and email and always let us know regarding any delays. Great workers and quality expert finish. Mike offered advise along the journey which we loved and I have to say his Team are very tidy and cleaned down and put tools away very neatly after each day. If you are in their area I can only Recommend them for your job. Top, top company. Thanks Guys
