Calder Oak

Calder Oak is a traditional timber framing company based in Lancashire, specialising in green oak carpentry, hand crafted oak king post trusses, oak framed extensions, oak framed summer houses, oak garages, orangeries, garden pergolas and porches. We also supply and install oak fireplace beams and roof beams with our unique adze finish. We create chainsaw sculptures and bespoke artwork for your garden, school, festival or parkland. We run courses to keep our craft alive and share our knowledge of traditional carpentry. We love taking on unusual bespoke projects which challenge our skills. Looked at a lot of companies first on line and fortunately came across Calder Oak. We were impressed with the amount of time they spent with us on the design and the communication with us all the way through the project. Chris and Liam are both friendly, reliable and very professional. It was a pleasure having them working for us. They have used traditional joinery skills on our green oak sun room and the end result is nothing short of stunning. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a similar undertaking.
