 Coronavirus operating restrictions

Customer numbers allowed onto the Nursery will be limited. Please be prepared to wait patiently in the queuing system. No more than 2 people together. We insist that people wear gloves due to the numerous surfaces you or others may touch that cannot be made safe. We would also be happy to see masks being worn. Social distancing must be observed. There will be a one-way system in place and we request that this is followed. Payment by contactless (£45 or less), or credit/debit card is preferred. No dogs except assistance dogs. We are now unable to accept any further plant orders, keep plants for collection later, or delivery. We are now unable to accept any further orders for hanging basket refills, but will have a selection of ready-made baskets for sale. It is important that we make it a safe and comfortable visit, as well as an enjoyable one for all.

We appreciate that many of you now find yourselves with plenty of time to spend in your gardens but unable to buy plants. To that end we are now taking orders for local deliveries whilst we are able to do so. Our full production schedules are to be found in the section on this website called 2020 plant production and this will give you an idea of what is or will be available over the coming weeks. Please bear in mind that Summer bedding is not frost tolerant so unless you have a greenhouse or similar to grow them in, whilst we can take your orders now we will hold delivery until later when any chance of frost has passed. Who knows, we may even be able to reopen the Nursery before then so collection may then be possible. We would be grateful to receive any orders or enquiries by email. We are short staffed and thus unable to deal with all incoming phone calls during the daytime. Sadly we will have to impose a nominal delivery charge to cover additional costs.
