The BCCC is an
award
winning
business
based just on the edge of the city. We make our own high quality garden
and
horticultural products including high grade Top Soil, Organic Compost,
Mulches and Bark- chip. We also sell seasoned logs and firewood through
our sister company; Brighton Logs Centre.
We offer
Brighton & Hove residents a cheap and efficient garden waste and old soil collection & clearance service.
For
local businesses creating garden waste, we operate a garden-waste recycling facility.

Jack1 StarI’d been using these guys for firewood since we moved down however time to look elsewhere.
Full disclosure: I missed a delivery after our plans had changed and I tried to reschedule but was told I could pay over the phone. My phone lost reception and thus I missed their call.
They then wouldn’t take my calls and ignored any further correspondence for a couple of months until I finally got them on the phone and rebooked a delivery.
I waited in but nobody showed up.
If you’re going to blacklist a customer for a change in circumstances then a) you need to look at your definition of customer service and b) have the balls to tell someone that they’re blacklisted.
Stupid fact is that you haven’t just lost one customer but two as my neighbour won’t buy from you now because we often joint ordered.
Community business? Yeah right.

Christopher Lomas5 StarSuper helpful, great communication, delivered on time, good quality product and its local, what's not to like? We always order from here, it's a great company and fair prices. Delivers with a small crane lorry to right outside your door. You don't have to buy tonne loads, you can buy it in smaller quantities too, in much more manageable sized bags. Sandra Davies5 StarIn April I received a delivery of the fabulous compost and some bags of topsoil. We got such a great service, from the start of ordering to delivery particularly at such a testing time. Not only are the products really good quality, and but the delivery driver was so nice and helpful, and they were delivered with a smile, despite the driver having worked quite a few days in a row I believe.
My neighbour and I shared the compost and we are now both converts to buying from Brighton Community Compost in the future.
Great for the environment, reducing waste and the carbon footprint, but marvellous for the garden too. What's not to like.
