This review is for the helpful service from a lady called Lynn. She is new to the job but she was able to sort out the stores mess up that we were struggling to resolve for over a week. Her attitude to sorting the problem out was excellent, she was the only person who delivered what she has promised. We made well over 30 phone calls and no-one seemed to know what was going on with our order. Even though there are continuous problems with the rest of our order being delivered for well over a week, she sorted other aspects swiftly and her manner of communication was genuine and courteous. She will work her way up the company with no problem.

The staff walk around in packs of two chatting to each other and are never to be found if you have a question. The queue at the tills was ridiculously long and it took them ages to open up more. The woman that served us looked a shambles and took absolutely ages to find a price for an item. Even though we were left standing for ages there was no word of an apology for the delay and when I asked if the contactless limit had gone up to £45 she made me feel like a fool for asking such a question. A complete disaster in customer care. Thea store does not appear to care if you shop there or not. If I had the time to spare I would have complained to a manager but it is not my hob to ensure that he or she gets the staff to do their job properly. I will look to buy items from anywhere but B&Q in the future. Avoid if you at all can!

Don't bother looking online at there stock levels. Twice now I've gone in after checking the items in stock online, only to find its not when I get there.
