The result was a scheme which won the Schools section of the ‘Norwich in Bloom’ competition. We constantly review and update our machinery stock, so that we are able to field the appropriate equipment for any contract, large or small – because the more efficiently we can do the job, the better we can maintain our outstanding value for money. But machinery, of course, is nothing without the skill of the staff who use it. Ours are not only vastly experienced, but we constantly update their training in all aspects of groundsmanship as well as in health and safety requirements. In addition, every member of our staff is first aid trained, and has passed an enhanced DBS check. The company also carries £10 million worth of public liability insurance. Artificial surfaces must be maintained constantly to provide a uniform surface to allow players to compete safely and effectively. Ashfords understand these requirements and with 30 years grounds maintenance experience we can provide expert care for your synthetic sporting surfaces. Using our Power Brush, we can collect debris, loose fibre etc, straighten the pile and redistribute the granules, making a safer and more even playing surface if carried out on regular basis.

Ashfords recently removed some 33 year old Conifer trees which were suffering from "Die Back" They were deep rooted and somewhat difficult to access. David's team carried out the job without any problem in a thoroughly professional manner. The old hedge was disposed of on site using a shredder and taken away. The garden was left very clean and tidy. A perfect job. Great Company to deal with who have exceptionally polite and able trained staff and up to date equipment. Highly recommended
