At archtech we specialise in the design of domestic extensions which can be some of the most challenging projects, making them join seamlessly both in their appearance and use.

We had 3 architects and applications prior to involving Steve at Archtech and were on the cusp of being closed by the LA employing Steve was the best move we made.
Steve took all pressure off us, dissolved the enforcement notice and formulated a cast iron case for approval, it went to committee which Steve was unable to attend but coached us in such a way that bolstered our case which led to positive approval first time.

To whom it may concern We have used the services of Archtech (Steve Jackson) on a number of design and building projects we have had carried out over the past few years.
Our most ambitious project has been the design and build of a stone built annexe . The construction is of local stone and blue slate roof with the interior designed as a bedroom and on-suite bathroom.
Steve carried out the design work, took care of the planning application and then carried out the construction. All phases of the work were carefully managed and met with the approval of Rossendale Planning and Building Regulation department.
In addition to the plans prepared for the annexe Steve also submitted drawings for a conservatory to fit over a first floor balcony. The drawings were approved and all necessary planning and building regulation permission granted. Steve prepared all drawings and supporting paper work and made all necessary submissions and managed contact with Rossendale Planning Officers.
Following the completion of the construction of the annexe, Steve organised and assembled the conservatory which effectively provides us with a weather proof balcony more appropriate for Rossendale weather!
We have had a number of other building works carried out by Steve Jackson all of which have been completed to our satisfaction. From our experience we can recommend Archtech Design and drawing services coupled with the liaison support given during the planning application and subsequent Building Regulation phases of construction.
This excellent service is supported by Steve Jacksons construction services which we found to be robust and of course directly benefit from the link to the design and planning aspect of a project.
