Jimmy and the boys were amazing they were so professional throughout the time that they were doing my garden, they never stopped working, they worked a complete miracle I really can’t thank them enough, I now have a garden to be proud off and very low maintenance the artificial grass is like a carpet

Hard to know where to start but from the beginning. Contacted Ryan in February after searching on line for reputable landscapers. After much research and consideration settled for Alton Landscape as their lighting and garden looked fantastic. Contacted Alton and spoke to Ryan. He was absolutely fantastic with his words assurance promised that I would have the garden of my dreams and exactly as I wanted. Work was supposed to start straight after Easter Bank Holiday Monday but it didn't.  I had to ring Ryan and ask why work hadn't commenced, his reply delayed with his last customer.  Maybe alarm bells should have rung then but he promised and assured that the garden would be complete in one week. It was not until mid June that the garden was looking okay but still incomplete. Ryan came over and wanted the cash as they needed the money. Despite his assurance that I only pay if I'm satisfied with the work on completion. I asked for a staggered path to outbuilding but instead I received a slanted straight path. I asked for buff Indian sandstone as all my bricks steps and walls were buff colours instead they layed down grey slabs. They lifted my decking to lay pipe for drainage and damaged my lighting. I was told they would fill my planters with top grade soil, instead they filled with rubble from the garden with some weed filled soil. I asked for lighting to be installed and they charged me double what it should have been. I asked them to buy plants for my planter and the overcharged me more than double the price. My drive was used to mix their sand and cement and I was horrified as I  had a new driveway put in. I was assured that that would clean up after themselves that didn't happen. At the beginning I asked Ryan if the grass will need replacing as it would get ruined he said no it should be fine, but it was ruined as Jimmy cut tiles on the grass and left deep gashes in it. My tiles have been laid and have had no membrane to line underneath, the gaps have been filled with sand and cement instead of glue. The tiles under the step have been rushed and been glued on instead of cementing on with no due care. It looks very unprofessional.  I asked for an arc planter instead I got a ghastly arc with a shoddy finish, the bricks should have been laid neatly standing upright and not flat as in the picture below. My back door had always been left open for them so that they could use the lavatory as and when needed instead one person and I know who it was and not the young guys urinated against my side wall, leaving a terrible stench and concentrated yellow stains. A total lack of disrespect for my property. I am absolutely disgusted with the service received,  Alton Landscape were not  considerate or professional, let alone cheap. I went for an expensive company with high ratings but I think they must be fabricated ratings. I gave Ryan ample opportunities to come and fix it but he never returned to fix it as he said. He never even gave me an invoice for the cash handed over to him, luckily my son was videoing the conversation and the exchange of cash. We've got someone else to come and complete the rest of the work. So avoid Alton Landscape at all costs as you will get ripped off and left feeling intimidated, vulnerable and disheartened. Hence I gave it a two star rating, one for the bricklayers and one for Keith who planted my plants.

Can honestly say that I am so impressed with this company and the transformation that they have created in my garden. The workmanship is excellent, and the team of guys were brilliant. They were efficient, personable, professional, reliable, always cleaned up at the end of each day and with nothing ever being too much trouble. I would absolutely recommend them and would be happy for anyone to view the work that they have done for me.

Cannot fault Ryan and his team of guys. From the quote to the finished result they were fantastic. Worked magic on our garden. Stunning design and great price. The guys showed up on time everyday and worked extremely hard to stick to a short timeline. They were professional, friendly and their attention to detail was impressive. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Alton landscapes and have in fact booked them in to do the front garden as well.
