The D.I.Y. chain store doors are imported from abroad and placed on a ship for numerous weeks. The transit encounters moisture in the doors and causes swelling and fitting problems may occur for many months. That's why I buy from Howdens, – because they are only two weeks old and kiln dry and long lasting. They are 5-star quality. The Howdens doors are the same price as the other D.I.Y. chains but much better premium quality.
