We found Adam through our local area's Facebook page, where he had been highly recommended. We reached out to Adam, and are so glad we did. We are planning a single storey extension to the side of our property, which is something neither of us have done before and was somewhat daunting. Adam has made the whole process so relaxed and enjoyable. We really like the fact he really listens to what we say, really thinks about it, and comes up with innovative, thoughtful solutions. We love his attention to detail. Adam's take is about using the space involved as practically and as stylishly as possible. Adam has come up with a brilliant design, which makes the best use of existing structures as well as adding light and space through the new extension. We have just submitted our application to planning with Adam, and look forward to working with him on the next stage of our project.

Working with Adam @ Alter has been a great experience thus far. We are looking to build a double storey extension to the rear of our home and have never done anything like this in the past. Adam's took the time to listen to our ramblings about what we wanted and turned them into an amazing design that we are very excited to get under way with. Adam's ability to understand what we wanted, even when at times I don't think we did ourselves, has made the experience much less daunting and actually enjoyable. We have been working with Adam on some renovation plans for our home, including a ground floor extension and loft conversion, and have recently submitted for planning approval. Adam has been a pleasure to work with for the initial phase of work and did a great job of engaging us throughout the design process. He took time to review our Pinterest boards, listened carefully to our suggestions and feedback and translated it into a practical and elegant design. Adam is designing an extension for our house at the moment. Before finding Adam I asked around my neighbours, but all of them said that their architects hadn't been very good, either because their work was not of a high quality or imaginative, or because they didn't listen. Adam is the opposite. He is easy to contact and enthusiastic. He has shown strong attention to deal and listens carefully to what we want. His design is imaginative and exactly what we asked for. I would be happy to recommend him to a friend.
